Seeking a data savvy Digital Specialist

TRUEdotDESIGN is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter Digital Specialist.

Must have significant experience managing both PPC and SEO with a strong understanding of AEO/GEO, technical SEO, conversion optimization, and performance tracking.

As a Digital Specialist at TRUEdotDESIGN, you live and breathe the digital space. You will lead digital strategy across Google Ads, Social Ads, and SEO (on-page and off-page) for a range of client industries. You will also support AI-search readiness through AEO/GEO best practices, structured content, schema implementation, and ongoing website performance improvements.

You bring a strong foundation in digital platforms, paired with a mindset of continuous learning, adaptability, and a willingness to challenge yourself and your thinking.

The Digital Specialist is responsible for delivering on our PPC and SEO work across all client accounts. You will ensure projects are executed in a timely, effective, and budget-conscious way, working closely with the Director of Digital, Account Directors, internal teams, and external partners.

At TRUEdotDESIGN, the Digital Specialist is focused on a variety of tasks, including:

Planning & Strategy Support:

  • Develop and support client-tailored PPC and SEO strategies (on-page and off-page), including defining KPIs
  • Support broader digital marketing strategies through research and project planning
  • Develop and support AEO/GEO strategies, including question-based content planning, FAQ development, entity alignment, and optimization for AI-driven search

Execution & Optimization:

  • Execute PPC and SEO strategies, including account setup, optimization, and ongoing management (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Implement and maintain SEO best practices across technical, on-page, local, and off-page initiatives
  • Audit and optimize landing pages, ad accounts, and website content based on performance data, search behaviour, and user intent
  • Identify CRO opportunities to improve lead quality and conversion rates
  • Support structured data and schema markup implementation (FAQ, LocalBusiness, Service, Breadcrumb, Article, etc.)
  • Support off-page SEO efforts through outreach and partner collaboration

Performance & Reporting

  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports that clearly communicate performance and insights
  • Present strategies, analytics, and recommendations internally and to clients

Technical Delivery & Growth

  • Work with internal teams to improve tracking accuracy across GA4, GTM, conversion events, form submissions, call tracking, and attribution
  • Manage project-related communications and scheduling, both internally and with clients
  • Execute all assigned deliverables with a high level of quality assurance
  • Stay on top of digital trends and evolving platforms, and share insights with the team and clients
  • Continue learning to strengthen your impact in the role
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the company’s online visibility
  • Support additional client or administrative needs as required

To be considered for this position, you’ve got to have most (or all) of these skills and qualities:

  • Post-secondary education in Digital Marketing (or related field), or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Google Certifications (Search, Display, Video, Mobile, Analytics)
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, including:
    • SEO (on-page and off-page)
    • Google Search and Display Ads
    • Paid social (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
    • Google tools (Analytics, Tag Manager, Keyword Planner, etc.)
    • WordPress CMS
  • Strong technical & working knowledge of:
    • PPC best practices (campaign structure, keyword intent, ad testing, targeting, bidding strategy, landing page alignment)
    • SEO best practices (technical audits, internal linking, metadata, content optimization, search intent mapping, local SEO)
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and conversion tracking setup/troubleshooting
    • Schema markup and structured data
    • Understanding AEO/GEO and AI-driven search behaviour
    • Identifying CRO opportunities and making data-backed recommendations
  • You also bring:
    • Experience managing multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C digital tactics
    • Experience with online reputation management
    • Ability to understand and adapt to different brand voices and styles
    • Strong content instincts or experience working with copywriters
    • Clear, confident communication and presentation skills
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving
    • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively
    • Initiative, curiosity, and openness to feedback
    • A portfolio showcasing strong digital campaign performance and analytics
